Nicholas Anthony Rohwedder was born January19, 1993, in Fayetteville, N.C., the first son of Teresa Rae Rohwedder. Nick was raised and educated in Jamestown and Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 2011.

He was employed by B&B Sanitation and Big John Portable Toilets. Nick enjoyed being involved with the area youth sports, such as the Jamestown soccer program, Dickinson Recreation flag football, Dickinson Optimist basketball, and with Dickinson Baseball being his pride. He experienced baseball from playing Mustang Baseball to becoming the catcher for the Dickinson Roughriders.

Hunting was a passion of Nick’s, and he seldom missed an opening day of grouse and pheasant. The HT Ranch was one of his favorite places, he really enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie that he experienced there. He was a fisherman, taking the paddle boat on a quick fishing expedition at the dike. The number of Frisbee golf discs he carried in his golf bag was an indication of his joy of that sport. Nick was a mentor, friend and wonderful brother to his sibling, Andrew.

Nicholas is survived by his mother, Teresa Rohwedder, Dickinson; brother, Andrew Rohwedder, Dickinson; grandparents, Andrew Rohwedder (Jan Stromsborg), Dickinson; and great-grandparents, Winton and Lila Rohwedder, Valley City. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy Rohwedder; and great-grandparents, Ancel and Priscilla Marsh from Jamestown.
