Patrick J. Anton, 61, Fargo, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Bethany Homes, Fargo. Patrick’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. CT, Monday March 28, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. Visitation will be on Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Entombment will be at 1 p.m. MT, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Dickinson Mausoleum, Dickinson.

Patrick was born September 5, 1960 in Dickinson, ND to George and Hattie Anton. He lived on a farm near New England, ND. He attended a one room schoolhouse in Clark Township and St. Mary’s School and New England, followed by schools in Dickinson and Mott, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1979. Patrick likes sports, especially basketball and hunting. He worked on the farm until he moved to Dickinson and worked at Fairway Foods. In 1988, he moved to Fargo and worked at the U.S. Federal Courthouse for 31 years. He was an avid church goer, helping with fellowship after the masses at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo.

He is survived by his mother Hattie Anton, of Dickinson, six sisters: Elaine, of Lincoln, ND, Beverly (Bill) Geiger, of Bismarck, LaVonne Viola, of Chester, NY, Jolene (Kevin) Quinn, of Lincoln, ND, Janice (Darrel) Hochhalter, of Rapid City, SD, and Mary, of Mandan, ND; three brothers: Kenneth, of Montgomery, TX, Daniel (Joy) Anton, of LaPorte, TX, and Myron (Amy) Anton, of Bismarck, ND along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father George, 2 brothers, Galen and Dean, a niece, Maegan Anton and a nephew Ryan Anton.
