Penny R. “Toni” McDaniel, 57, Belfield, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. Penny’s Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2019 at Invitation Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dickinson with Elder Ron Wright officiating. Interment will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Killdeer. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
Penny Renee Jonas was born January 22, 1962 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Stella McDonald and Lewis James Jonas.
Toni married Jimmy Avrett in 1976 and this union a daughter, Krista Lee Avrett was born. Her husband Jimmy died in 1977. She moved to Phoenix, Ariz. where she met Delwin Olson and they married in 1987, and to this union two daughters Sara Brooke and Pamela Kay were born. Toni and Delwin parted ways a few years later, but always remained good friends. Toni then married Charles McDaniel but divorced a few years after.
She loved her animals, gardening and her 11 grandchildren, Aaron, Riley, Chris, Aiden, James, Isaiah, Jacob, Justice, Katelynn, Wyatt and Bud; and great-granddaughter, Haley. Toni was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dickinson on May 20, 2017.
Toni is survived by her loving and cherished daughters, Krista (Philip) Hardwick, El Paso, Texas, Sara (John III) Reiss, Belfield, and Pamela (Shaun) Paul, Killdeer; and two brothers, Roger (Stacy) Jonas, Dallas, Texas, and Rusty Hale, Hot Springs, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jimmy Avrett; sisters, Pamela and Vicki; and her step-dad, Carol Hale
