Quadraline E. Adams, 64, Garrison, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Trinity Hospital, Minot. Quadraline’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Quadraline “Quad” Elisabeth Adams was born to Willard and Sylvia (Reis) Adams on October 19, 1960. She was the oldest of three children, having a sister (Clarissa) and brother (Donjowea). Quad attended school and graduated from Belfield High School in 1979. She attended some college at Dickinson State, where she met the guy next door. After dating for some time, Quad and Robert moved to Beach, where they had two daughters, Syhann and Laira. Quad and Robert were married in the courthouse on November 12th, 1991. After divorcing years later, Quad moved back to Belfield for a time, then to Dickinson. For the last year she was living in Garrison and talked a lot about the Christmas activities she enjoyed there.
Quad found her passion when she joined the Beach Ambulance squad. She studied hard and she earned her certification as an EMT-I. Quad loved every minute when she was dealing with the medical field. Later when she could not do the ambulance runs anymore, she was the EMT for the Dickinson Roller Dearby.
She loved to crochet and made blankets for her loved ones. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery and even made some of her own clothing, as well as making clothes for others. Quad was also always reading something as she loved to read, Stephen King being one of her favorites. She always had a book with her in case she ever needed to pass the time. She loved to watch movies, even if they were bad ones. She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren, telling them all the same stories repeatedly.
Quad was an avid bird watcher and loved to feed the birds out her windows. She always had animals with her throughout her life, whether it was her pet raccoon when she grew up, the dogs she loved, or all the cats she cared for and snuggled with throughout her life.
Quad had the biggest personality. She loved to laugh and always had a quick comeback to make you smile. She had a hug that could put a Band-Aid on your soul whenever you needed it. She did not know it, but she became a second mom to many. She always thought she was someone that was easily forgotten, but little did she know that she would leave an exceptionally large hole in a lot of lives.
Quadraline was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Sylvia; and her brother, Donjowea. She is survived by her sister, Clarrisa (Michael); her daughters, Syhann (Patrick) and Laira (Erik); as well as her grandsons, Shaun and Deegan.
We would like to thank the staff at Trinity Hospital in Minot for the care they provided for her final days and the compassion they showed us during her last few difficult days.
