Randy loved spending his time playing music. He was a drummer for ten years and then turned to guitars, steel guitars, electric guitars, acoustic, and bass. He was inducted into the Dakota Legends of Country Music Hall of Fame.
Randy LOVED John Wayne, anything John Wayne. He watched John Wayne movies over and over again. Anyone who visited would hear the TV full blast with a movie he had seen many times.
