Rebecca Lynn (Becky/Becca) Bensen, 48, Dickinson, died Friday, July 10, 2020 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Dickinson. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Pastor Jerry Sevier officiating. A service in Sioux Falls, S.D., will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2900 East Prospect Street.
Becky was born in Sioux Falls, S.D. on August 16, 1971 to Robert (Bob) Hagmann and Eileen (Schauermann) Hagmann. She graduated high school from Lincoln High in 1989 and later went on to Bel-Rea Veterinary Technical school in Denver, Colo. to become a Veterinarian Tech. She had a compassion for all animals, especially her horses and dogs.
Becky married Jason Bensen on September 10, 2011 in Sioux Falls. They were blessed with their greatest gift, Bryson, on January 14, 2007.
Becky was always the best at whatever she tried. She was an excellent bowler, avid fisher, loved her motorcycles and riding her horses. But above all, she was the best mom, daughter, sister and friend we could have ever asked for and she will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her son Bryson Bensen of Sioux Falls; brother Ron Hagmann of Howard, S.D.; brother Mike Hagmann of Grand Island, Neb.; and many, many friends and family who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Fred Ewoniuk.
