Regina Lefor, 92, Dickinson, died on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Regina’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Lefor with Fr. Dennis Schafer as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Lefor. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Victor Dvorak presiding. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Regina Anton was born on July 26, 1931 on the family farm in rural Stark County near Lefor, the daughter of Christ and Margaret (Raab) Anton.

Regina was united in marriage to Jack Lefor on June 17, 1952 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Lefor. They farmed and raised their family of seven northwest of Lefor.

Regina is survived by her children, Jack Lefor, Dickinson, Russell Lefor, Lefor, Renae (Joe) Twigg, Detroit Lakes, MN, Roberta (Robert) Steier, Reeder, Delores Lefor, Dickinson, Arlen Lefor, Gladstone, Ryan (Jackie) Lefor, Gladstone; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Krauter, Beulah, and Arnold Anton, Gladstone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lefor, on August 21, 2000; her parents; sister, Ann Oukrop; infant brother, Edward Anton; and brothers-in-law, Joe Oukrop and George Krauter.

Regina’s family would like to thank St. Benedict’s staff for their wonderful care.
