René Michelle Lantz, 61, Dunn Center, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends Celebration of Life Service on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Dunn Center Pub & Grub from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
René Michelle Malicoat was born November 29, 1956 at Oakland, Calif., the daughter of Kathryn Casselman. She was united in marriage to Michael Lantz on Nov. 11, 1989 at LaBarge, Wyo.
René had lived in many interesting places while her husband worked in the oilfield. She worked as a bartender, grocery store manager and as City Auditor for Dunn Center.
René is survived by her husband, Michael Lantz; children, Michelle Randall, Vici, Okla., Trina Randall, Michigan, Christopher (Lindsay) Verley, Casper, Wyo., and Jeffery (Stacey) Verley, Afton, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Nancy and Matt; brothers-in-law, Ed Lantz and Jon Lantz; sister-in-law, Maralene Spawn; and numerous wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Steven; and grandson Alex Verley.
