Rita M. Stoltz, 73, New England, died Sunday, May 28, 2023 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. Rita’s Liturgy of Word Service will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Victor Dvorak presiding. Interment will follow at the Stoltz Hilltop Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service on Saturday.

Rita M. Reindel was born May 12, 1950, at Dickinson, the daughter of Frank and Arlene (Geerts) Reindel. She was raised and educated in Regent where she graduated from Regent High School.

Rita married Kevin P. Stoltz on June 1, 1971 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Regent. They lived in Dickinson until 1999, when they moved to New England. She worked as one of the first waitresses at Country Kitchen in Dickinson, also at the Eagles Club and the St. Anthony Club. In New England she ran the Stoltz Greenhouse for 10 years, prior to becoming a Para-Professional with the New England Public Schools until her retirement in the Spring of 2023.

She belonged to the Dickinson Rural Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, camping, flowers and gardening, watching football and basketball, and will be remembered as an excellent cook.

Rita is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Wendi (Corey) Johnston, Richfield, MN, and Aaron (Melissa) Stoltz, Dickinson; grandchildren, Emma Waller, Ethan Stoltz and Jackson Stoltz; siblings, Bernie Reindel, Harvey, Dee (Darrell) Frank, Dickinson, and Carl (Pam) Reindel, Dickinson; sisters-in-law, LaVon Reindel and Karla (Terry) Fichter; her Stoltz side of the family, Gary Stoltz, Daryl (Arlene) Stoltz, Paulette (Dean) Baar, Galen (Sandy) Stoltz, Delila (Lyle) Dassinger, Lorri Stoltz, Pam (Dale) Roller, and Jodeen (Danny) Meier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arlin and Raymond “Butch”; in-laws, Paul and Wiletta Stoltz; and brothers-in-law, Rocky Stoltz and Richard “Pat” Pierce.
