Robert “Bob” Evoniuk, 56, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his home. Bob’s Parastas & Panakhyda will be at 1 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Fr. Myroslav Dumych and Deacon Leonard Kordonowy presiding.
Robert E. Evoniuk was born January 27, 1964, in Dickinson, the son of Emil and Gertrude “Gertie” (Kanski) Evoniuk. He was raised and educated in Belfield, graduating from Belfield High School in 1982. Bob joined the United States Army in 1984 and served until 1993.
Bob was united in marriage to Colleen Leingang and to this union two daughters and one son were born, Ashley, Courtney and Calum.
He resided in Belfield until moving to the family farm west of Fairfield eight years ago. He has worked in the oil field throughout his life.
Bob adored his grandchildren and spending time with them. He enjoyed tinkering and working on electronics, and being a part of the community. He especially cherished his two rescue dogs, Carlos and Victor.
Bob is survived by his children, Ashley Evoniuk, Bismarck, Courtney Evoniuk, Lincoln, and Calum Evoniuk, Mankato, Min.; four grandchildren, Simon, Xander, Rien and Mirah; his sister, Roxanne (Melvin) Binstock, Dickinson; and his niece, Tasha (Rick) Stephens. He was preceded in death by his parents.
