Roberta M. Olds 83 died January 26, 2012 peacefully at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson, with her family at her side. Roberta was born December 5, 1928 at Alba, Mich. to George and Effie Imel. She was one of 10 children. Roberta was a devoted homemaker and mother who enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Roberta married Jack E. Olds on August 29, 1968 at Boyne City, Mich. She is survived by her husband, three children, William “Billy” (Syndee) Borst, St. Ignace, Mich., Rebecca “Becki” (William) Wilkins, Enterprise, Ala., and Deborah “Debbie” Harrington, Halliday, along with three sisters, eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Roberta was preceded in death by her son Daniel “Danny” Olds, her mother and father and six siblings. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date at Taylor.
