Robin D. Genzel, 50, Dickinson died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral service’s for Robin will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Rev. Tim Privratsky presiding. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Robin David Genzel was born June 10, 1958 at Burdrop Park, Swindon, Wiltshire County, England, the son of Stanley Genzel, Sr. and Kay (Harman) Genzel. Growing up in a military family they lived in various locations where he received his education. Following his graduation he moved to western North Dakota to work in the oil field. Robin has worked in oil related business since he moved here with the exception of nine years that he spent at Steffes Corp. Robin had married Teri Riesinger.

Robin and BJ fellowshipped at Evangelical Bible Church in Dickinson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, a round of golf, and playing a good game of softball.

Robin is survived by his daughter, Haley Genzel, Dickinson; his mother, Kay Barger, Puyallup, Wash.; one sister, Dawn Amy, Puyallup; and two brothers, Steven Genzel, Puyallup and Stan (Jana) Genzel, Jr., Washington, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Evangelical Bible Church for a scholarship fund that would allow kids to attend bible camp.
