Ron Olheiser, 68, Dickinson, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 surrounded by family at his home. Ron’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Patrick Ojedeji as the celebrant. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Dallas Carlson presiding.

Ronald H. Olheiser was born August 28, 1949, son of Ralph and Irene (Reisenauer) Olheiser in Dickinson. He grew up in Dickinson and went to school until eighth grade when he left to join the family business “Olheiser & Sons Construction”. Ron married Bonnie Skogen on April 18, 1970, and together they raised four children.

When he wasn’t working he loved socializing with friends and family. After retirement, Ron enjoyed working on the house and yard. Ron’s children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed having morning coffee with his long time friend, Fred Pilot.

Ron is survived by his children, Gayle (Scott) Just, Bismarck, Rhonda Etzel, Dickinson, and Chad (Tara) Olheiser, Bismarck; daughter-in-law, Amy Olheiser; nine grandchildren, Amber and Colton Just, Brittany (Christopher) Brandt, DeAnna and Dion Makowski, Brooklyn Etzel, Jace and Jude Olheiser, Alley Olheiser; two great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Adaleigh Vollmers; siblings, Linda (Raymond) Morrell, Ralph (MaryJane) Olheiser, Alice (Chuck) Urlacher, Darrel (Theresa) Olheiser, Char (Fred) Pilot, George Olheiser, Irene Polly, Eugene (Mary) Olheiser, Raymond (Leah) Olheiser, and Dan Olheiser, all of Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Olheiser on May 30, 2010; parents, Ralph and Irene Olheiser; son, Keith Olheiser; brother, Kevin Olheiser; and grandson, Derick Olheiser.
