Ronald D. Conrad, 80, Dickinson, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his home. Ronald’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Tyler Doohen as officiant.

Ronald was born on September 7, 1945, the son of Cyril and Susie (Kesler) Conrad. He was raised and educated in Harvey. He went on to attend Minot State College where he graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English, Speech, and Drama.

He was united in marriage to Judy Marie Woodard on January 9, 1971 in Wibaux, MT. They moved to Glendive in 1975 where he taught at Dawson County High School until retiring in 1995. It was here he had taught Speech, Drama, and Forensics. Following his retirement from teaching, he went on to work as the Headstart Director until 2016. Ronald and Judy relocated to Dickinson in September of 2023.

He enjoyed teaching kids and in his spare time doing crafts, spending time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Judy; their two children, Ryan D. Conrad, Bismarck, and Tiffany M. (Brian Keller) Conrad, Dickinson; four grandchildren, Trevor (Sadie) Conrad, Taylor (Breilyn) Conrad, Skyler Conrad, and Brener Conrad; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; his sister, Nancy (Mark) Lange, Devils Lake; two nieces, and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Susie Conrad.
