Ronald W. Heiser, 80, Dickinson, died on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at CHI St. Alexius Bismarck. Ron’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Christian Smith as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., on Tuesday with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.
Ronald W. Heiser was born on July 11, 1942 in Dickinson, the son of John and Mildred (Kubas) Heiser. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Central High School in 1961.
Ron married Frances Beckler on May 10, 1969 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton and to this union one daughter was born, Kim. Throughout Ron’s life he ran delivery routes for Cloverdale, Westchem, and the US Postal Service. He also drove school bus for the Dickinson School District. In his free time, he completed contract painting projects.
Ron was united in marriage to Patricia Pedeliski on October 7, 1989 at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Fairfield.
He enjoyed fishing, walking, working in his garden, but he especially cherished hanging out with his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife, Patty; daughter, Kim (David) Kaminski, Dickinson; grandchildren, John Reiss IV, Sierra Reiss, Alexandra Kaminski, Belle Stagl, Alijah Stagl, and Chaseon Stagl; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Fisher, Plummer, MN; in-laws, Sue Pyfer and Jeff (Suzy) Pedeliski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Albert Fisher and Bob Pedeliski.
