Rose A. Pflepsen, 93, Dickinson, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. William Ruelle as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Rose A. Sand was born in Dunn County on November 10, 1926, the daughter of Wendell and Theresa (Holz) Sand. She attended country school through the eighth grade. Rose was blessed with a daughter, Donna. She devoted her time and talent to doing housekeeping for St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed embroidery, reading and going to garage sales.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Donna; siblings, Leo (Diane) Sand, South Heart, Eugene (Barbara) Sand, Jamestown, Raymond (Helen) Sand, Dickinson, and Dorothy (James) Dworshak, Dickinson; sisters-in-law, Leona, Roberta, Elenore, Stella, and June Sand; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Theresa; daughter, Doreen; infant son, Gary; nine brothers, Herman (Viola), Anton (Julie), Lester, Wendel, Joe, Richard, Walter, Edward, and Kenneth (Suzie) Sand.
