Rose Dukart, 89, Dickinson, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Rose’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a Christian Mothers rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.

Rose Ehresmann was born June 12, 1923 at Gladstone, the daughter of Michael and Mariann (Paul) Ehresmann. She was raised and educated in Gladstone. Rose moved to Sacramento, Calif., where she went to work as a file clerk at McClallen Air Base, and while there she met Leo H. Dukart who also was from the Dickinson area. They were united in marriage on April 12, 1945 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Gladstone.

Rose and Leo began farming in the Richardton area in 1946 and then moved into Dickinson in 1954. While in Dickinson she belonged to the Christian Mothers and the D.A.V. Auxiliary.

Rose is survived by two sisters, Bertha Wanner, Dickinson, and Eleanor Weber, Dickinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and two very close friends, Margaret Miller and Margaret Roller, Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo on October 28, 1989; her parents; four infant brothers; one infant sister; two sisters, Edith “Eva” Ehresmann, and Betty Perricone; and four brothers, Joe, John, Adam and Michael.
