Rose M. Wanner, 79, Dickinson, died Saturday, March 13, 2021 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Rose’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as celebrant. Inurnment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service with a Rosary and Vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Rose M. Huschka was born December 6, 1941, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Schmidt) Huschka at home south of Belfield. She was raised and educated in the Belfield area, having graduated from Belfield High School.

Rose married Daniel Wanner on January 2, 1961 in Belfield and to this union three children were born, DeeAnn, Cory and Julie. She worked in clerical at a bank prior to going to the oilfield. She enjoyed gardening, baking, attending church, spending time with her grandkids, and volunteering at the nursing home and various pre-schools.

Rose is survived by her children, DeeAnn (Steve) Nelson, Dickinson, Cory (Dana) Wanner, Belfield and Julie (Broc) Streifel, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Maci Wanner, Morgan Nelson, and Ella Nelson; siblings, Susan Reis, Belfield, Marion Metzger, Wyo., Cathy Roller, Dickinson, Eva (Bob) Hlibechuk, Belfield and Dorothy Fluhrer, Minn.
