Scott C. Schneider, 70, Richardton, died Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Sanford Health Bismarck. Per Scott’s wishes there will be a private family service held at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor David Ling officiating. Interment will follow at the Antelope Baptist Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Hebron American Legion Henry Biffert Post 100.

Scott Clarence Schneider was born October 27, 1949 in Dickinson, the son of Clarence and Esther (Heinle) Schneider. He was raised and educated in Hebron. He served honorably in the United States Army from November 30, 1967 to August 31, 1970 upon his discharge he was a specialist E-5.

Scott was united in marriage to Nicolette Bingert in 1970 at Manhattan, Kansas and to this union one son, Clint, was born. He was a farmer throughout his life southwest of Hebron on the original family place. During this time he also worked as a rural post carrier. Scott married Patricia Boschee on February 4, 2005 in Dickinson.

Scott is survived by his wife, Pat, Richardton; son, Clint (Melissa), Dickinson; step-children, Jamie (Joel) Opp, Hebron and Miranda (Wes) Erdle, Bismarck; grandchildren, Kenley and Tyson Schneider, Natalie (Dave) Ballon, Jamison and Wyatt Opp, Eli, Manny and Zeke Erdle; his mother, Esther Schneider, Glen Ullin; his sisters, Melodie (Al) Sargent, Hardin, Mont., Linda (Al) Opdahl, Audubon, Minn., Peggy Krebs, Bismarck and Sheila (Larry) Hoffland, Trout Creek, Mont; mother-in-law, Elva Boschee, Bismarck; brother-in-law, Rod (Shelly) Bosch, Mandan; sisters-in-law, Pam Boschee and Deidre Van Norman, both Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.
