Scott A. Remington was born May 28, 1991 the son of Kevin K. and Lisa A. (Klein) Remington at Fayetteville, N.C., while his dad was stationed in the Army. The family transferred to Panama where he went through the First grade. The Remingtons moved to Richardton where Scott continued his education, graduating from Richardton-Taylor High School in 2009. He was currently attending Bismarck State College. While in school, football was a passion of his and he found great joy while playing the game with his team mates.

Scott had a gift of expressing himself through his writings and had a genuine love for music. He enjoyed spending time with his friends.  He always had a big smile on his face, a big heart, and his friends tell us he was a great listener.  Scott held his own emotions very private and close to himself.  Scott enjoyed coyote hunting and internet poker with his dad.  His brother Kevin was his best friend.  His sister Kori was his trusted confidant, and his “momma” reports he gave the best hugs… and he never let go first.

Scott’s family knows, that if he could have seen the depth of pain and heartache that his choice to take his own life has caused his friends and family, he definately would have chosen another way to deal with his pain and hurt. We still pray that he now finds peace.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Kevin and Lisa; his sister, Kori (Adam) Phillipe, Richardton; his brother, Kevin, Jr., Fargo; his grandparents, Lawrence and Jeanne Klein, Regent, Darrel and Arly Remington, Belfield; his aunt and uncles, Kim (Jon) Doe, Gregg (Heidi) Klein, and Todd (Lety) Remington; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his namesake, his uncle, Scott Klein who died in infancy.
