Shane Riemer, devoted husband, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 16, 2023, at the age of 65. Shane’s Memorial Service will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. on Saturday at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Shane was born on January 25, 1958, to Gerald and Doris Riemer. Although Shane fondly remembered his years of living in southwest North Dakota, and the values that were instilled in him, he strived for sunshine and warm weather. He happily called himself a true snowbird, spending glorious summer days in ND and winters in Nevada.
After graduating from Halliday High School in 1976, Shane attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. This granted him the opportunity to launch his own highly successful electrical company in Northern Virginia, which he proudly owned and operated until retiring in 2012.
Shane married Lori Dutt in a quaint ceremony on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA in 1984. The two were inseparable. Although they did not have children, their pets and family were always their priority.
Shane’s talents and creativity could never be underestimated. A profound craftsman and perfectionist, he transformed ordinary into spectacular. Always wanting only the finest for his family.
Shane leaves behind his beautiful mother, Doris, Dickinson, his wife Lori, brother Scott (Ann), Costa Rica, sister Reyne (Dennis) Kubischta, Dickinson, and his beloved dog, baby Rio.
Shane was preceded in death by his father Gerald Riemer.
