Sharon Greff, 52, Mott, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Sharon’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, Mott, with Father Charles Zins as celebrant, interment will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and Monday, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a rosary and time of sharing Sunday at 4 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church.
Sharon Thomas was born May 12, 1957 at Dickinson to Fred and Kathryn (Kilzer) Thomas. Sharon was raised on the family farm north of Mott. She attended school in Mott and graduated from Mott High School. Sharon married Dennis Greff in 1977. After her children had grown, Sharon began working as a Certified Nurse Aide. Sharon loved her job and the elderly she cared for. She was always happy to help out whenever she could.
In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed many activities such as bowling, volleyball, crafts, and board games. She was a member of the North Dakota Pro-Life Association, St. Vincent’s Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters.
Sharon is survived by her five children, Jessica (David) Kerzman, Fargo, Andrea (Kollee) Burkhardsmeier, New Prague, Minn., Ashley (Mark) Hintermeister, Fargo, Jenna Greff, Fargo, and John Urlacher, New England; her father, Fred Thomas; two sisters, Connie Bruesch and Patty Greff; two brothers, David Thomas and James Thomas. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother.
