Sharon Kay Clark, 64, formerly of New England and Bismarck, died from complications of Huntington’s Chorea on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Marian Manor Health Care Center, Glen Ullin. Sharon’s funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Rev. Janel Kolar officiating. Burial will follow at the New England Cemetery, New England. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Sharon Kay Clark was born July 20, 1949 in Dickinson, the daughter of Robert R. and Bertha (Zenker) Clark. Following her graduation she went to the Women’s Job Corps for two years. She then spent three years working at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo prior to beginning a 23 year career working for the Capital Café in Bismarck. In 1997 her illness forced an early retirement, and in 2005 she became a resident of the Marian Manor in Glen Ullin.

She had belonged to the Presbyterian Church in Bismarck. She enjoyed frying Rosettes, listening to music and going to church functions.

Sharon is survived by her mother and step-dad, Bertha and Milbern Christensen, New England; four step-siblings, Linda (Duane) Miller, Box Elder, S.D., Thomas Christensen, New England, Randy Christensen, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Dean (Maria) Christensen, Clear Lake, S.D. She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; sister-in-law, Jo Christensen; step-brother, Rodney Christensen; and all of her aunts and uncles.
