Sharon Reis, 55, Dickinson, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her home. Sharon’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2009 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield with Fr. Shannon Lucht as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Sharon Jilek was born June 13, 1954, at Dickinson, the daughter of Laudie and Leona (Hondl) Jilek. She was raised and educated in the Fairfield area and attended high school in Belfield, graduating in 1972.
Sharon married David Reis on December 1, 1972 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. For the past several years she has lived in Dickinson and worked for Baker Boy.
Sharon is survived by her three children, Tracy (Jesse Duckwitz), Reis, Belfield, Cody (Julie) Reis, Fairfield, and Dustin Reis, Dickinson; her mother, Leona Jilek, Dickinson; four grandchildren, Tess Brennan, Hunter Duckwitz, Dillon Reis and Emmet Reis; one sister, Karen (Jim) Downing, Fairfield; a niece, Janel; and a nephew, Jason. She was preceded in death by her dad, Laudie.
