Sheri Rodakowski, 29, Bowman formerly of Belfield died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at West River Medical Center, Hettinger. Sheri’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield with Father Shannon Lucht as celebrant and Father David Morman as con-celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service and at the church beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church.
Sheri Ann Hutzenbiler was born April 4, 1979 at Dickinson to Daniel J. and Susan J. (Boltz) Hutzenbiler. Sheri was raised on the family farm south of Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School in 1997. While living at home Sheri enjoy helping with the operation of the farm. In 1998 she moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., where she worked for Sapp Brothers. In 2000 Sheri moved back to Dickinson and worked for Rosenbluth International until she married Luke Rodakowski on June 29, 2001 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Sheri and Luke moved to Wannaska, Minn., in 2001 and then to Bowman in 2007.
While in high school, Sheri played on the girls basketball team and was a member of 4-H Club, she later became a member of Catholic Daughters. Sheri enjoyed hunting, camping, horses, scrapbooking, and drawing, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and Luke.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Luke; four children, Gabriel, Samuel, Andrea, and Nicholas, all of Bowman; her mom and dad, Dan and Susan Hutzenbiler, Belfield, one sister, Jennifer Runyan, one brother Daniel B.; grandmothers, Lydia Boltz and Elsie Kilzer; and one nephew Kacee Runyan, all of Belfield.
Sheri was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ray Boltz, Joseph Hutzenbiler, and Bernard Kilzer, two uncles, Warren and Roger Boltz and one aunt, Sharon Hutzenbiler.
