Tamara “Tammy” C. Ross, 63, Dickinson, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her home. Tamara’s Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Mike Pretzer as officiant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Tamara Zastoupil was born September 1, 1961 in Dickinson, the daughter of Vincent and Charlotte (Krumenacker) Zastoupil. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated in 1980 from Dickinson High School.
Tammy married Allen “Tiny” Kasian on July 5, 1994. Due to her extreme love for children, she was a childcare provider throughout her life. Tammy was united in marriage to Loren Ross on February 14, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, scrapbooking, making homemade cards, cooking, baking, and had a fondness for chocolates. Tammy especially loved her grandchildren and family. She was very knowledgeable whenever she was asked a question.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Loren Ross, Dickinson; children, Jeremy J. (Lana) Zastoupil, Fargo, Erica (Mike) Altenberg, Beach, Tiffany (Jason) Lee, Sentinel Butte, and Vanessa Ross, Dickinson; grandchildren, ShayLynn (Hunter) Erhart, Sydney Altenberg, Cody Altenberg, Anna Lee, Destiny Lee, Peyton Gustke, and Jasmine Ross; great-grandson, Bowe Christensen; siblings, Larry Zastoupil, Aberdeen, SD, Terry (Tammy) Zastoupil, Sheila Steffen, Dickinson, and Todd Zastoupil, Florida; brother-in-law, Roy Owens; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Charlotte; sister, Susan Owens; brothers, Gary, Kim, John, and Kevin; infant siblings, Sheila P. and Todd N.; and nephew, Christopher Owens.
