Tillie Mack, 98, formerly of Dickinson died Friday, June 6, 2008 at Arvada, Colo.. Tillie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2008 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Jerry Kautzman as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service. There will be a rosary and vigil at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Jerry Volk presiding.

Tillie Frank was born December 17, 1909 in Dickinson the daughter of Michael and Anna Mary (Hecker) Frank. She was raised and educated in Dickinson.

Tillie married Frank Mack on October 15, 1929 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Schefield. They lived in Dickinson until 1963 when they moved to Oakdale, Calif., returning to Dickinson in 1973. Tillie had worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. For a period of time prior to her marriage. Tillie and Frank moved to Arvada in 1997 to live with their daughter, Judith. Frank died on January 12, 2004.

Tillie liked to sew and bake, play cards and especially attending family activities. She belonged to the St. Joseph’s Altar Society.

Tillie is survived by three children, Edwin (Josephine) Mack, Spokane, Wash., Judith (David) Christmas, Arvada, and Charles (Arleen) Mack, Longmont, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clementine Weiler, Dickinson, and Veronica Kern, Mott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Richard Mack; two brothers, Nick and Joe Frank; two sisters, Mary Weber and Pauline Heiser; and her parents. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the St. Anthony Hospice at 1391 Speer Blvd., Suite 600, Denver, CO 80204.
