Timothy R. Wolff, 56, Dickinson, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home of natural causes. Tim’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Timothy Ray Wolff was born January 8, 1959 at Thief River Falls, Minn., the son of John A. and Lillian C. (Barta) Wolff. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1977. He then attended UND, earning a BS Degree in Accounting, and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as a CPA in Denver, Colo., Minneapolis, Minn., and most recently here in Dickinson.
Tim belonged to the International Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Alumni of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) Fraternity. He enjoyed collecting coins, reading about history, astronomy, and current events.
Tim is survived by his dad, John A. Wolff, Dickinson; four siblings, Diane (Alex) Wolff-Thomas, Gloucester, Mass., Harriet (Doug) Worden, Minneapolis, Minn., Bruce (Therese Rasmussen) Wolff, Denver, Colo., and Patti Wolff, Fargo; and a niece and two nephews, Emma and Isaiah Thomas, and John Worden. He was preceded in death by his mom, Lillian on May 9, 2014; maternal and paternal grandparents; and an infant brother, John.
