Timothy “Tim” P. Gengler, 52, Dickinson, ND, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, following a courageous battle with liver disease. Tim’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Dickinson with Rev. Scott McKirdy officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Timothy P. Gengler was born November 6, 1954 at Dickinson, the son of John F. and Esther (Hopfauf) Gengler. He was raised and educated in Dickinson. Following high school he began working for Tooz Construction and then began a career working with concrete. The past 22 years Tim has been with Winn Construction as a concrete finisher.

Tim married Patricia “Patti” Williams on May 7, 1983 in Dickinson, and together they have continued to make Dickinson their home. He enjoyed working in the yard, doing woodworking, fishing and truly enjoyed his job. Tim cherished and looked forward to spending time with his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his wife, Patti; their two children, Kyle (fiance-Jessi Slocum) Gengler, Nebraska, and Trista Gengler, Dickinson; six sisters, Kathy Reisenauer, Dickinson, Claudia Zimmer, Nebraska, Paula (Roger) Cymbaluk, Williston, Annie (Van) Barker, Sioux City, IA, Esther Gengler, Dickinson, and Belinda (Bill) Suter, Beulah; seven brothers, John (Mary) Gengler, Richardton, Fred (Shirley) Gengler, Dickinson, Mark (Deb) Gengler, Albany, OR, Jim (Mary) Gengler, Fort Rice, Chad (Cathy) Gengler, North Glen, CO, Bob Gengler, Dickinson, and Mel Gengler, Sheridan, WY; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts.
