Tina M. Jassek, 54, died Friday, March 8, 2024 at CHI in Dickinson surrounded by family and friends after a heroic eight year battle with pancreatic cancer. Her victorious fight was evident by the joy, selflessness, and grace with which she composed herself, even amidst the hardest days. Tina’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Fr. Russ Kovash as celebrant. Interment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to the Mass on Thursday at the church. There will be a rosary led by Deacon Ross Reiter and Vigil at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Al Schwindt as the presider.
Tina Marie Sadowsky was born December 8, 1969 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson to Louis J. and Victoria (Rambousek) Sadowsky. She was raised in Dickinson and educated in the Catholic school system, graduating from Trinity High School in 1988, where she was on the cheerleading squad.
She worked at Buttrey’s Food & Drug where she met her husband, Mark Jassek. They were united in marriage on June 29, 1991 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson. After beginning their married life in Fargo, they settled in Dickinson, where they raised their two children and where she built a career as a business manager at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Tina brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone she encountered. Her unwavering love for family, friends, and strangers was evident in every smile, hug, and conversation. Whether you found her at the baseball diamond watching her great nephews or at her home decorating every space for the upcoming holiday, she made sure everyone around her felt valued and cherished. Her love of holidays and desire to celebrate occasions big and small were infectious and left an imprint on her family and friends.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Mark; daughter, Jillian (Jesse) Kubik, Dickinson, and their son Elliott; Trever (friend Morgan Koffler); brother, Darrell (MaryAnn) Sadowsky, Gladstone, and their children, Justin (friend Melissa Hovland), Dustin (Courtney), Travis (Lacy), Alexia Jo (Brandon) Eslinger, and Bobbie Jo (Casey) Doll; brother, Brian (Sue) Sadowsky, Dickinson, and their children, Brandi (Aaron) Dorval, Cora (Steve) Tormaschy, Allison (Seth) Combs, and Chad (Ashlie); sister, Leonice (Jeff) Splichal, Kindred, and their children, Matt (Nicole), and Kathy Jo (Eric) Stoddard; sister, Roxanne (Doug) Ficek, Manning, and their children, Tiffany (Casey) Roshau, and Darren (Randi); and 30 beloved great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
