Tobias “Toby” Bohrer, 58, Taylor, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his home of natural causes. Toby’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Taylor Lutheran Church, Taylor, with Pastor Tyler Haag officiating. Interment will follow at the Taylor Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service. There will be a time of sharing memories at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Tobias John Bohrer was born in Bismarck on July 24, 1958 to Wilbur and Audrey (Zoller) Bohrer. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School. He was united in marriage to Denise Rima on February 4, 1978 in Dickinson.
He operated Kristi Floral in Dickinson for 35 years. In more recent years he worked for the city of Taylor, and as a TCA Park Manager. He also owned and operated Prairie Home Repair and Stump Busters. Toby also served on the Dickinson Ambulance for several years.
In 2009, Toby met the love of his life DeAnn Paulson.
He enjoyed camping, wood working, small construction and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his father Wilbur (Bill) Bohrer; step-mother, Lupita Bohrer; half-sister, Jessie Bohrer; and grandson, Gabriel Lange.
Toby is survived by DeAnn and her children, Brady (Sarah) Gilje, Brooklyn (Tyler) Haag, Bailey and Britton Paulson; his children Jodi (Bryan) Lange, Dickinson, Krystee Bohrer, Minot, William Bohrer, Minot, and Emily (Wade) Kottre, Glen Ullin; and ten grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother Audrey (Glenn) Rolf; sisters, Jill (Darrin) Triplett, Heidi Bohrer, and Margaret Bohrer, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
