Victor Kadrmas, 90, Dickinson, died Sunday, August 26, 2012. Victor’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Patrick Schumacher as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary & vigil at 8 p.m., with Deacon Ray Jilek and Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Victor Kadrmas was born September 14, 1921, northeast of Dickinson in Dunn County, the son of Joe A. and Annie (Dvorak) Kadrmas. He was raised and educated in this area, having attended country school.

He was united in marriage to Della Jilek on October 19, 1948 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. They farmed together 18 miles northeast of Dickinson and then in 1957 they moved to a farm northwest of Dunn Center. The family moved into Dickinson in 1978. Besides farm life, he enjoyed music and loved animals.

Victor is survived by three children, Keith (Darla) Kadrmas, Dunn Center, Arlene (Allen) Fitterer, Dickinson, and Lunette (Rick) Hondl, Dickinson; one sister, Mildred (William) Jablonsky, Dickinson; eight grandchildren, Brian Fitterer, Christopher (Kristie) Hondl, Jordy (Allisa) Hondl, Kyle Kadrmas, Kari Kadrmas, Kayla Kadrmas, Douglas Kadrmas and Cody Kadrmas; and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Jesse. He was preceded in death by his wife, Della on October 19, 2005; his parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Agnes (Vernon) Kostelecky.
