Vince Bren, 66, Dickinson, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 surrounded by family at his home. Vince’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Military Honors will be provided by the Dickinson American Legion Post 3 Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Dallas Carlson presiding.

Vince was born on March 7, 1951 in Dickinson to Vincent and Beatrice (Meduna) Bren. He graduated from Dickinson High School in 1969 and from Dickinson State College in 1978. He served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1976 in Germany.

In 1978 he was hired by TMI where he worked for over 38 years. He retired in 2017, due to an illness. Vince was very appreciative of everything that TMI did for him. At TMI, he met the love of his life, Donna Krebs. They shared everything together.

Vince loved the guitar, playing whenever possible. He was an avid reader, especially of WWII and politics. He loved to cook and try new recipes. Vince found great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Luke 11:9-10 “And I tell you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Vince is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; daughter, Ann Pavlicek; sons, John (Deanna), Tom (Jessie), Mark (Kayla); ten grandkids; and two step-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Beatrice Bren Sr.; and mother-in-law, Mary Krebs.
