Viola Ann Neprash, 80, formerly of New England, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Viola’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New England, with Fr. Biju Chitteth as the celebrant, and assisted by Deacon Victor Dvorak. Inurnment will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Victor Dvorak presiding.

Viola Ann Faller was born July 6, 1936 in Dickinson, the daughter of Frank and Clementine (Huschka) Faller. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School.

Viola was joined in marriage to Donovan Neprash, on November 3, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson. They had moved to Parshall prior to returning to Dickinson and eventually making New England their home. She worked various bookkeeping jobs.

She enjoyed bowling, embroidery, working in her flowerbeds, playing cards and watching sports. Viola loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Viola is survived by three children, Kathleen (Byron) Richard, Belfield, William (Jill) Neprash, New England, and Daniel (Kim) Neprash, Watford City; six grandchildren, Brandon (Emily) Richard, Michelle (Tony) Greer, Kristen Neprash, Megan Neprash, Matthew Neprash, and Michael Neprash; twin great-grandchildren, Eversynn and Emmett Richard; and four siblings, Don (Angie) Faller, Irene (DJ) Fisher, Richard (Dolores) Faller, and Sandra (Darrell) Stockert, all of Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her husband Don on April 26, 2014; and her parents.
