Warren A. Just, 82, Medora, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Warren’s funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2017 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Pastor Roger Dieterle officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Friday.

Warren was born February 18, 1935, son of Martin and Elsie (Jorsez) Just, in New Salem. He was raised and educated in New Salem.

He began his career with Northern Pacific Railroad at the age of 18. Warren’s job took him to several location in Montana and North Dakota. Eventually ending up in Medora where he resided for 57 years. Upon retirement from the railroad, Warren and Margaret traveled south in the winter months. They visited Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and California. They settled for 18 years in Needles, Calif. during the winter months.

He belonged to the Elks Club, Volunteer Medora Fire Department. Warren enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, fishing, golfing and traveling in his retirement years. Warren’s favorite pastime was spending time with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Warren is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Wayne Just, Rochester, Minn., Amy Scott, Dillion, Mont., and Stacey Olson, Dickinson; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Florrine (Don) Valent, Bismarck; sister-in-law, Ola Just, New Salem; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and co-workers through the railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Elsie Just; brothers, Lloyd Just, Clarence (Janie) Just and Gilbert (Charlotte) Just.
