Wayne Berry, 67, Killdeer, ND, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at his favorite fishing hole doing what he liked best. He worked as a building inspector in San Diego County for 15 years and 20 years for the city of Helena, MT before retiring in 2003 and moving to Killdeer.
Wayne loved living in this small friendly town with nearby fishing and hunting. He was a kind compassionate father and loving husband to his wife of 37 years.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his parents-in-law. He was 67 years old and survived by his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Sandra (Matt) Quesada; sons, George, Jr. and Dave; his sister, Linda Harmon, Helena; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin (Marcia) Hagbom, Don (Jean) Hagbom, and Barb (Blayne) McLeod; as well as eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and Wayne’s graveside service will be at 11 am, Monday, April 7, 2008 wit Rev. Judy Banwart officiating at the Alden Township Cemetery, seven miles south of Regent, ND. Lunch will be served following the service at the Regent Senior Center.
