Wilbur “Bill” Bohrer, 71, Dickinson, ND, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at Med Center One, Bismarck. A private family Entombment for Bill will take place at the Dickinson Mausoleum. There will be visitation from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the family present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., to greet friends on Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.

Wilbur Bohrer was born December 30, 1936 at Manhaven, ND, the son of Tobias and Margaret (Benker) Bohrer. The family moved to Bismarck when Bill was young and this is where he was raised. Bill went on to Wahpeton to attended NDSSS, where he received a degree in Mechanical Drafting.

Bill married Audrey Zoller in July 1956 in Chicago, Ill.. They returned to North Dakota and Bill joined the North Dakota National Guard, and as part of the guard he was activated into service for a period of time.

Bill had worked for the North Dakota Highway Department prior to moving to Dickinson in 1973 when they purchased Kristi Floral which he operated for 35 years. Bill married Lupi Gutierrez on June 26, 1982 in Dickinson.

Bill cherished his time spent with his grandchildren and family. He looked forward to getting the lake home ready, the pool up and running and going camping, all of which gave him time with his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by six children, Toby (Denise) Bohrer, Taylor, Jill (Darin) Triplett, Phoenix, Ariz., Heidi Bohrer, Phoenix, Ariz., Margaret Bohrer, Dickinson, Adrianna (Carlos) Marin Sanchez, Minneapolis, Minn., and Javier (Casey) Sanchez, Mexico; 11 grandchildren, Ryan (Stacie), Jodi (Bryan), Krystee (Thomas), Billy, Ashley, Emily (Wade), Nevaeh, Amaya, Sophia, Madison and Jaziah; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lupi on April 23, 2001, his daughter, Jessie on March 27, 2005, his parents, five brothers, and one sister.
