Wilbur Brew, 67, Dickinson, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dickinson. A Liturgy of Word Service for Wilbur will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding. Inurnment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with the family present to visit and greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wilbur Brew was born August 10, 1948 to Palma (Pierce) Hendrickson Brew and Walter Brew. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School.

Wilbur married Kathy Frank on September 19, 1969, and to this union one son, Jamie was born. Kathy died on December 19, 1999.

He had owned and operated Dickinson Drywall for 35 years, and then worked as the PR man for HFC Rentals, and most recently had been working at Dan Porter Motors.

Wilbur married Margie Reisenauer on February 14, 2001 and with this gained two stepchildren, Crystal and Shelby, and granddaughter, Savanna.

He loved music, especially Elvis and Bob Dylan. He also cherished the companionship with his dog, Bear.

Wilbur is survived by his wife, Margie; son Jamie Brew, Dickinson; step-children, Crystal Wiege and Shelby (Tara) Reisenauer; step-grandchildren, Savanna, Brydn and Calista; and 10 siblings, Raymond (Joan) Brew, Dickinson, Kenneth (Rachel) Brew, Billings, Mont., Arnie Brew, Dickinson, Cynthia Brew, Dickinson, Virgil (Cordell) Hendrickson, Scranton, LeRoy (Mary Lou) Hendrickson, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Richard (Barbara) Stimac, Las Vegas, Nev., Larry (Marilyn) Stimac, Spearfish, S.D., Phyllis (Ron) Gibson, Klamath Falls, Ore., and Linda Kostelecky, Spearfish, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; his parents; step-mother, Minnie; and six siblings, Homer Brew, Julianne Rolf, Tony Hendrickson, Bonnie Hendrickson Messmer, Mike Stimac, and Bernadine Palczewski.
