William Alvin Klein, 79, Dickinson, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. A memorial gathering to honor Billie’s life will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Inurnment will follow at Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
William was born February 8, 1934 at Burt, the son of Fredrich and Emma (Tintzman) Klein. He was raised and educated in the Burt area. Bill married Marjorie E. Nelson on November 6, 1991 in Dickinson.
Bill’s love was working for farmers and ranchers throughout his life. He was helping a friend when he sustained his injuries that eventually brought on his death. When possible, he loved to travel distances to visit family and friends, and will always be remembered as a jolly and happy man. In his retirement he spent his afternoons at CJ Welding shop with Jerome, that girl, Hopper, and Puppy.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Ervin Klein, Thornton, Colo., Victor (Erin) Klein, Bismarck, Oscar (Bertha) Klein, Mott, Marvin (Margie) Klein, Cherry Valley, Calif., Elmer Klein, Las Vegas, Nev., Darlene (Charles) Honeycutt, Mesa, Ariz., and Sophia Kissinger, Augusta, Ark.; many nieces and nephews; and good friends, Jerome, Carol and Jessica Kuntz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie on October 20, 2010; his parents; and his siblings, Andrew, Adam, Bernard, Richard, and Florence.
