Yvonne Urlacher was born on September 22, 1961, to Frank and Emilia (Hutmacher) Urlacher. Yvonne was a woman whose heart was as vast as her love for others. Her legacy of kindness, selflessness, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She grew up on a dairy farm near New England, where she developed a strong work ethic and deep sense of responsibility. After graduating from New England St. Mary’s, she began working at St. Joe’s Hospital. However, once her beloved daughter, Haley, was born, Yvonne chose to leave the hospital to focus on raising her family and opening an in-home daycare. This became one of the most cherished chapters of her life, creating lifelong friendships and beautiful memories with many children who were lucky to be cared for in her home. Having to adapt to her new lifestyle after her 2008 health journey, she stopped providing daycare and began working part time at the middle school, cleaning homes, and eventually caring for her grandchildren.

In 1986, Yvonne married the love of her life, Ken Stockert, and together they built a beautiful life, raising three children: Nathan, Josh, and Haley. Yvonne’s devotion to her children was unwavering, and she was deeply proud of the people they became.

Although Yvonne faced health challenges later in life due to Marfan syndrome with it requiring multiple heart surgeries, her spirit never wavered. She always put others before herself, with a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Her happiest moments were spent with them, and she took great pride in maintaining her home as it had been during her daycare days, wanting them to create the best possible memories with them. Yvonne’s love and care for her family were evident in everything she did.

Yvonne leaves behind her devoted husband, Ken; her children, Nathan (Rachel), and Haley (Austin) Krank; and her cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Ava, Tyson, Ethan, and Mya. She is also survived by her loving mother, Emilia, and her eight siblings, who will forever remember her compassion and strength.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Urlacher; her beloved son, Josh Stockert; and her in-laws, Van and Rose Stockert.

Yvonne’s legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her heart of gold, unwavering love, and endless devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
