Cynthia “Cindy” Soehren, 75, Dickinson, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at home with family by her side. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Reeder Cemetery.
Cynthia Faye Donner was born April 1, 1943 in Bowman County, to Lavern and Arlene (Flatland) Donner. Cindy was raised in Reeder. She attended and graduated from Reeder Public School in 1961. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Merle Soehren. Cindy and Merle were blessed with two children, Jeff and JoEllen.
Cindy loved camping. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cindy loved children, and spent many years providing daycare.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Merle; son, Jeff (Patrice); two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; daughter, JoEllen (Ed) Shypkowski; grandsons, Jory, Jeremy, Jesse, and Jacob Shypkowski; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Tenly; sisters and brothers, Bonnie (Tom) Anderson, Debbie (Eugene) Molbert, Kent (Les) Donner, Jody (Marshall) Stafford, Judy (Curt) Dacar, Joel (Jackie) Donner; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Arlene Donner; sister, Linda; and her grandparents. Cindy will be greatly missed by all.
