Jeanne Hoselton, 78, Dickinson, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Jeanne’s funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Dickinson with Rev. Noel T. Vold officiating. Interment will take place at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, S.D., at 9 a.m., on Thursday. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Anna Jeanne Etcheverry was born March 9, 1931 at Grafton, the daughter of Jean Baptiste Etcheverry and Eloise Elizabeth (Willson) Etcheverry. She was raised and educated in Hamilton until 1949 and then lived in Grafton until April 1950.

Jeanne married Roland C. Hoselton on April 1, 1950 in Pembina County. They lived in Drayton until 1972 when they moved to Glendive, Mont. She attended school in Wahpeton and Grand Forks in 1967 and 1968 at which time she graduated from nurses training as an LPN. Jeanne worked as a nurse in hospitals in Grafton and Drayton and a nursing home in Glendive. In 1991 Jeanne and Roland made Dickinson their home.

Jeanne was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, she loved her Savior and cherished time in prayer and Bible study. Jeanne made jewelry and liked to do crafts and reading in her pastime. She enjoyed doing volunteer work and spending time sending out lots of birthday cards.

Jeanne is survived by her five children, David (Blanche) Hoselton, Sterling, Colo., Lori (Robert) Faulhaber, Dickinson, Louise Hoselton, Dickinson, Loretta (Wayne) Aaland, Aurora, Colo., and Norman (Lanette) Hoselton, Fargo; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy (José) Menendez, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland on June 30, 2009; and her parents.
