Ann Nadvornick, 94, Dickinson, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Ann’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson with Msgr. Patrick Schumacher as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a vigil at 6 p.m. on Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.
Ann Kress was born February 16, 1924 in Hirschville, daughter of John and Magdalena (Brucker) Kress. She was raised and educated in the Hirschville area.
Ann married Joseph J. Nadvornick on July 16, 1946 at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church in Hirschville. They made their home in Dickinson, where she was a stay at home mother, raising four children.
She enjoyed sewing, mending and gardening. Her husband Joe, died November 6, 1991. She remained in her home until just recently when she moved to St. Luke’s Home.
Ann is survived by her three children, JoAnn (John Muniz) Thomas, Westminster, Colo., David Nadvornick, Dickinson and Allan Nadvornick, Dickinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; parents; son, John Nadvornick on July 25, 2018; two grandsons, Jeffrey Joseph Thomas and Paul Anthony Thomas; and three siblings.
