Clint Schalesky, known as “Binky” to his family, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the age of 65. Clint’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.
Clint was born on June 16, 1961, in Moorhead, MN, to Derrold and Laurella (Lindahl) Schalesky. He grew up and received his education in the Max and Douglas, North Dakota area.
In 1981, Clint welcomed his first daughter, Sara, with his girlfriend. He later moved to Dickinson, where he married Rynell Berger, and their daughter, Kari, was born. Clint later married Conni Parada, and together they welcomed their son, Caden, and daughter, Shaylyn. Through his marriage to Conni, Clint also gained two bonus children, Marco and Devon Parada, whom he lovingly adopted as his own. He eventually met and married Tamara Ridl, and through their marriage he was blessed with three bonus children, Jessica, Micheal, and Matthew.
Clint was a hardworking man throughout his life. While living in Dickinson, he held various jobs over the years, including working as a welder for Steffes, Fisher Industries, Continental Metal, and Hutz Welding. He also worked as a grain loader in Dickinson. After moving to Minot, Clint worked for Sundre Sand & Gravel, which was his final job before his retirement. Clint and Tamara moved back to Dickinson not too long after.
When Clint wasn’t working, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed starting his mornings with a cup of coffee and relaxing in the garage while listening to music. He loved to sing and dance, and was always ready with a story, often bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
Clint was hardworking, strong-willed, and, as those closest to him knew, sometimes stubborn. He had a personality all his own and could turn an ordinary moment into a story worth sharing. To those who knew him, he was truly a legend—deeply loved and impossible to replace.
More than anything, Clint cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren. They brought him immense joy, and he treasured the time they spent together. His love for them was steady, generous, and unmistakable.
Clint will be greatly missed for his stories, love of music, morning coffee, time in the garage, Harley rides, and the laughter he brought to others. The warmth and love he shared will continue to live on in those who knew him.
Clint is survived by his wife, Tamara, Dickinson; children, Kari (Garrett) Morris, Minot, Shaylyn (Josh) Breuer, Nampa, ID, Caden Schalesky, Meridian, ID, Micheal (Briana) Ridl, Dickinson, Matthew Ridl, Dickinson, Jessica Ridl, Dickinson, and Sara Zieman-Mix, Elk River, MN; five grandchildren, Kynslee Schalesky, Nevaeh Ridl, Micah Mix, McKenna Mix, and Jessalyn Restemayer; siblings, Faye (David) Zieman, Minot, Jason (Teresa) Schalesky, Osage, WY, Ronda (Mark) Kemmit, Minot, Lori (Darrell) Bruns, Makoti, and Melinda (John) Smith, Plaza.
