Harlen Heinle, 81, Dickinson, passed away on October 6, 2021 at CHI St. Alexis Dickinson after a short battle with Covid. There will be a private family service held with interment and military honors taking place at the North Dakota Veteran Cemetery, Mandan. There will be a public visitation from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Social distancing and masks are highly recommended.
Harlen was drafted in 1962 in the US Army at Ft Hood, TX. He married Alvina (Dassinger) Heinle in 1964 and they had five children.
He owned Harlen’s Radiator Shop for 44 years. He loved to go camping, fishing, hunting, going to the shooting range, and spending time with family and friends.
Harlen is survived by his five children, Susan (Allen) Fettig, Doreen Hondl, Superior, WI, Duane Heinle, Elaine Heinle and Ivan Heinle Dickinson; ten grandchildren, David, Nicholas, Marcus, Zackary, Stephanie, Devin, Gavin, Ashely, Caden, Joseph; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gaylen Heinle, Aberdeen, SD; sister-in-law, Connie Teske Heinle, Marian, IL; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Diane Randa.
He was preceded in death by wife, Alvina Heinle; his parents, Emanuel and Ida Heinle; brother Donald Heinle one grandchild; and many uncles and aunts.
