Jane Paulson was born April 8, 1931 at Sioux Falls, S.D. When she was about two and a half months old she began living with Earl and Wilma Paulson, McLaughlin, S.D. About a year later Jane was adopted by Earl and Wilma. Jane spent the next four years living on their dairy farm and enjoyed herself greatly. The family moved to Idaho for the winter of 1937 and in the spring of 1937 they moved to Bloomfield, Ind. Jane attended school in Bloomfield and graduated from Bloomfield High School.

Jane married Allan Paulson in Bloomfield on November 4, 1951. After their marriage they moved to the family ranch north of Taylor. In 1954 Jane and Allan moved to Bowman where Allan was stationed with the ND Highway Patrol. In 1959 they moved to Dickinson because of Allan’s job.

Jane was a member of Eastern Star and St. John Evan. Lutheran Church. Jane’s entire life revolved around her family but in her spare time she enjoyed gardening and trips with Allan to Four Bears. After Allan’s retirement, they enjoyed many road trips to “no-place-in-particular”.

Jane is survived by her four children, Janette (Tim) Stockert, Duvall, Wash., Kathy (Dave) Kleppe, Bismarck, Rita Kuntz and Andrew Paulson, both of Dickinson, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan, one infant daughter and one son-in-law, Rodney Kuntz. We will miss our mom, grandma, and great-grandma.
