Kristie M. Black, 41, Belfield, died Monday, December 18, 2017, unexpectedly in Sidney, Mont. Kristie’s Memorial Service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Rev. Tim Voth officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Kristie M. Nelson was born April 27, 1976 in Ada, Okla., daughter of Leonard West and Irene Nelson. She was raised and educated in Stonewall, Okla.
She has for the past 18 years developed a wonderful relationship with Clint Carter. Together they along with her son, Ethan, traveled from coast to coast, eventually moving to North Dakota, settling in Belfield nine years ago.
She loved her family time, going fishing, skiing, surfing, traveling and having spent most of their time in the mountains.
Kristie is survived by her companion, Clint Carter, Belfield; son, Ethan Black, Belfield; her mother, Irene Nelson, Stonewall; brother, Jeremy Nelson, McAlester, Okla.; and her constant sidekick, fussy.
