Regina Wanner, 78, Mandan, died Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Sandford Health, Bismarck. Regina’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Dickinson. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Regina Stroh was born April 30, 1940 in Dickinson, the daughter of Jacob and Magdalene (Schwindt) Stroh. She was educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School.

Regina married Simon P. Wanner on September 25, 1957 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson. They farmed north of Mott for a period of time and for a short time owned the clothing store in Mott. Over the years their family lived in Dickinson, Mott, Portland, Ore., and Terry, Mont., prior to moving to Mandan in 1986. Regina provided nursing assistance in a variety of locations over the years and was also very instrumental at Wanner Cabinets.

She loved watching Twins Baseball, following the grandchildren’s activities and spending time with family and friends at the lake!!

Regina is survived by her four children, Kurt (Juli) Wanner, Dickinson, Kelly Wanner, Mandan, Jody Wanner, Bismarck and Kim (Sheree) Wanner, Mandan; grandchildren Josh (Allison) Wanner, Jordan (Allison) Wanner, Jonathan Wanner, Zach Wanner, Keetan Wanner and Miah Wanner; one great-grandchild, Isaac Wanner; sister, Caroline Kuntz; sisters-in-law, Clem Stroh, Joyce Stroh, Mary Stroh and Marge Stroh; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon, on November 28, 2018; son, Kevin; and 12 siblings, Pete, Dan, Harry, Bill, Gary, Richard, John, Rose, Mildred, Angie, Barb and Tony.
