Rogette F. “Rogie” Kostelecky, 78, Dickinson died Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home. Rogette’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Rogette F. Kostelecky was born June 16, 1938 at Dickinson, the daughter of Anton P. and Hattie (Kralicek) Kostelecky. She was raised and educated in Dunn County near New Hradec having attended country school and graduating from Dickinson High School.

Following graduation she went to work for Sax Motor Co., and the North Dakota State Highway Department before moving to Anaheim, Calif. for 10 years. Upon her return , she became employed by Anfinson’s and finally the Stark County Treasurer’s Office until her retirement.

Rogie’s enjoyed her daily walks through town-rain or shine. She followed the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, enjoyed going fishing with her Aunt Aggie, having a Miller Lite, and watching TV.

Rogie is survived by her brother-in-law, Ray Brydl, Dickinson; her nieces and nephews, Paula (Francis Wilson) Sullivan, Stephanie (Bill) Page, Dan (Deb) Brydl, Dave (Gail) Brydl, Jean (Todd) Ficek, Paul (Cassie) Brydl, Sheldon Kostelecky, and Kyle (Michele) Kostelecky; and 25 great and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Marjean; sister, Virginia Brydl; and niece, Karyn Wilson.
