Rose Mary Dolechek, 75, New England, died Friday, December 23, 2016 while visiting family in Minnetonka, Minn. Rose Mary’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Dickinson, with Fr. Patrick Ojedeji as the celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.

Rose Mary Stockert was born to Adam and Marianne (Dukart) Stockert in New England, on November 12, 1941. She grew up on the family farm near New England. Rose Mary met a farmer in Dickinson, George Anton Dolechek, who became the love of her life. They were married June 13, 1960. Rose Mary and George ran a dairy farm south of Dickinson. They raised nine children on the family farm.

During their time on the farm they had two house fires. They later would buy a house in Rose Mary’s hometown of New England. Rose Mary’s husband George passed away March 18, 1999. She remained in their home until her death.

Rose Mary has joined her husband, three children, parents, and brother that have all passed on before her. She had a passion for baking goodies. She used her gift to bless others, by selling her goodies at bake sales. She will be greatly missed by the people that bought her delicious baked goods.

She enjoyed playing cards with her family and spending time with her best friend Evon Praus. Rose Mary collected knick knacks, stuffed animals and anything “Holstein” cow related.

Rose Mary is survived her children, Jeffrey (Therese) Dolechek, Georgianne (Elmer) Krebs Jr., Laurie Sundquist, Larry (Barbara) Dolechek, Jamie Dolechek, and Valerie (Harlow Frogness) Dolechek; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, David (Lauice) Stockert, Dorothy (Drake) Stockie, Terri (Denny) Anner, Tom (Linda) Stockert, Rita (Rick) Striefel, Netsy (Joe) Dobler, and Kenny (Connie) Stockert.

She is preceded in death by her husband George; sons, Jerry, Gary and Terry; parents, Adam and Marianne; and brother, Adam Stockert Jr.
